Nick Cannon Decides Home Sleep

Very few things are certain in this life: death, taxes, and Nick Cannon managing his time among his children and baby mamas. Moreover, the media star has 12 children with six different partners, and as much as that's great headline fodder, he loves having a big family and showing them all love. Also, many of his baby mamas have defended him amid claims that he's not as present in his kids' lives as he should be. However, that wide net comes with some tough choices to make. One of those is how Cannon decides what bed he's going to sleep in on a given night, which he revealed to The Los Angeles Times.

From what he remarked, apparently his sleeping arrangements are contingent on who he spoke to that day. "A lot of times it's whichever of them has called me that day, to be honest," Nick Cannon told the publication. "I am such a creature of habit. I like who like me." In addition, he clarified that he keeps clothes at each of his baby mamas' houses in the conversation, published Sunday (May 7).

Nick Cannon Uses This Metric To Decide Where He'll Sleep

In that same interview, the "Wild 'N Out" host said that he makes $100 million a year, which is an insane metric. Still, he also spoke briefly on some of the "downsides" to his busy lifestyle, and that of his partners. "Because everybody’s so busy, nobody’s looking to have sex with me," the 42-year-old revealed. "Everybody’s focus is the children." Of course, many will joke that Nick Cannon doesn't need to spread his seed any further, but at least he's owning up to their priorities. After all, he could be much more nonchalant than this when it comes to caring for and discussing his children and romantic partnerships.

Meanwhile, there is one relationship where he proceeds with extra caution: Mariah Carey. "She’s high frequency, man," he expressed to Jason Lee. "She always like- she asks me all the time, like, ‘You alright? How you doin’? You handling it all.' She’s like, ‘As long as you don’t bring none of that bulls**t over to the Manor of Carey.’ She lives in her own world. Nothing can infiltrate that. So, when we talk daily, she’s just checking on my spirit." For more updates and the latest news on Nick Cannon, log back into HNHH.

About The Author
Gabriel Bras Nevares is a music and pop culture news writer for HotNewHipHop. He started in 2022 as a weekend writer and, since joining the team full-time, has developed a strong knowledge in hip-hop news and releases. Whether it’s regular coverage or occasional interviews and album reviews, he continues to search for the most relevant news for his audience and find the best new releases in the genre. What excites him the most is finding pop culture stories of interest, as well as a deeper passion for the art form of hip-hop and its contemporary output. Specifically, Gabriel enjoys the fringes of rap music: the experimental, boundary-pushing, and raw alternatives to the mainstream sound. As a proud native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, he also stays up-to-date with the archipelago’s local scene and its biggest musical exponents in reggaetón, salsa, indie, and beyond. Before working at HotNewHipHop, Gabriel produced multiple short documentaries, artist interviews, venue spotlights, and audio podcasts on a variety of genres and musical figures. Hardcore punk and Go-go music defined much of his coverage during his time at the George Washington University in D.C. His favorite hip-hop artists working today are Tyler, The Creator, Boldy James, JPEGMAFIA, and Earl Sweatshirt.
