"Wasteland-CHOPPED NOT SLOPPED" out now!

It would be an understatement to say that Brent Faiyaz has been busy. The dude has been working overtime. From announcing a new world tour for his sophomore album Wasteland to partnering with Steve Stout and creating a creative agency that acts as a hub for all his independent work, Brent's got his foot on the gas. Not only that, today, anonymous DJ/producer Marshmello tapped Brent Faiyaz for a new single. It's been the first taste of music from the toxic R&B star since dropping his album.

However, Brent's not done just yet. As if he didn't have enough momentum, the F*ck The World artist dropped another Chopped Not Slopped rendition of his new album. Wow, a new single, and a chopped n' screwed version of Wasteland, Brent Faiyaz is kicking things off with a bang for his tour. This is the second time that Faiyaz has collaborated with DJ Candlestick who has an affinity for the Houston chopped n' screwed style. Candlestick added his personal touch to the R&B star's new album and his 2020 tape F*ck The World.

Regardless, both tapes are phenomenal, Brent Faiyaz and DJ Candlestick created something dope with these two albums. Not only that the "ChopNotSlop" remixes are all incredibly unique yet familiar. DJ Candlestick does an amazing job setting a scene of a completely comatose feeling throughout each song. It's as if he poured cough syrup all over the album. However, Brent's songs still sound as good as the originals, with just a little bit of Houston flavor added.

It's no surprise when Brent Faiyaz dropped the news that he was hitting the road, fans went into a frenzy. Tickets go on sale today, hopefully, they haven't already sold out. The first leg of the tour kicks off in July, just in time for the summer, and ends in the fall in Europe. Moreover, with the new single out, along with the release of his remixed sophomore album, Brent's gonna have a good chunk of music to pick from for the tour. Let us know if you've given the album a listen. Have you peeped the new single? Drop a comment below!
