Rihanna is officially diamond certified and it is long overdue.

Rihanna has an abundant roster of things to celebrate. As of this week, her 2011 hit single, "We Found Love" is now certified diamond according to the Recording Industry Association Of America. Additionally, This is Rihanna's first song to go Diamond.

The single "We Found Love" was produced by Scottish Dj, Calvin Harris. Calvin Harris has produced Billboard charting singles such as "Let's Go" featuring Ne-Yo and "Slide" featuring Frank Ocean and Migos. Harris also has another Billboard charting entry with Rihanna called "This Is What You Came For." "We Found Love" was a single from Rihanna's sixth studio album Talk That Talk. This album produced more hit singles such as "Birthday Cake" and "Talk That Talk" featuring her Roc Nation counterpart Jay-Z. The song "We Found Love" peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2011. The song remained at number one for 10 weeks. The music video has over one billion views.

This isn't Rihanna's first time being mentioned in the diamond conversation Rihanna recently received another diamond status record for her feature on Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie." "Love The Way You Lie" is 13-times platinum under the Recording Industry Association of America. Her song "Umbrella" with Jay-z is also an eight times platinum record. The Year 2023 has solidified Rihanna's return to the music industry. She has garnered a successful makeup line in the meantime called Fenty Beauty as well as an intimate line called Savage X Fenty. Her 2022 release "Lift Me Up" foreshadowed her return. "Lift Me Up" was featured on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

Rihanna also performed "Lift Me Up" On The 95th Oscars ceremony this past March. Fans who have anticipated her return to music as they expressed it on social media for several years. In February, Rihanna headlined Superbowl LVII, returning to the stage after almost 5 years. The performance received 112 million views.
