G Herbo drops off a 5-track playlist for the fans.

G Herbo’s debut album arrives next Friday [September 22].

After a few delays and teasers, the Chicago-bred rapper’s Humble Beast effort will officially drop, but just ahead of its arrival, Herb has delivered on his #S4MF2: Road To Humble Beast Playlist. In one instance, the “playlist” serves as both a prequel to Humble Beast and a sequel to his Strictly 4 My Fans effort of 2016.

Arriving packaged in 5 tracks total, Strictly 4 My Fans 2 arrives as more of an extended play to build up anticipation of his debut effort.

“This what a lotta songs do” Herbo noted when announcing the mini-project's incoming arrival, alluding to the arsenal of tracks he’s been readying. Naturally, none of the songs seen here appear on the track listing of 15 songs on Humble Beast, only padding on to the work ethic that G Herbo has steadily displayed throughout the years.

"I want it to have the same influence as Reasonable Doubt; Illmatic. It’s going to grasp who I am, my story, where I come from, who I wanna be,” Herbo stated of the forthcoming Humble Beast in an interview last month. "Illmatic and Reasonable Doubt told a story about where Nas and Jay-Z come from, where they wanna be and where they are now, what it took to get there. That’s what I want my album to resemble."

In support of Humble Beast, Herbo has also released a few singles and music videos to appease fans for the time being. These outings have included his remix of Meek Mill’s “We Ball,” the fifth installment of his “4 Minutes To Hell,” and the accompanying clip to his “I Like” track.

In addition to Humble Beast, G Herbo has also previewed the approached of his upcoming collaborative projects with producer Southside and fellow Chicago emcee Lil Bibby in the forms of Swervo and No Limitations, respectively. No word yet on when exactly these efforts will touch down, but for now, we'll keep our eyes on Humble Beast.
