Kyle Kuzma has jokes for Lauri Markkanen. Twitter is torn by Kuzma's actions.

Kyle Kuzma has entered the Twitter ring after his unnecessary comments toward Lauri Markkanen. Markkanen recently discussed his military duties for his home country of Finland. In Finland, every male citizen has to serve in the military before their 30th birthday. The shocking revelation for Markkanen had many thinking about what this means for his playing career. However, for Kuzma, it felt like the perfect time for a joke. A joke that may not have landed with everyone.

Kuzma hit Twitter with these comments, “Saw that boy shoot this year and said 🫡🫡🫡🫡.” Kuzma's comments have seemed to irk a lot of those on Twitter. Especially since Markkanen's announcement was seemingly emotional. Markkanen earned his first appearance at the All-Star game and has been having a great year. However, the decision doesn't have to be immediate. Because the Finnish star is just 25 years old. However, that didn't stop Twitter from taking a stance on the matter.

Kyle Kuzma's Comments Draw Battle Lines

Fans seemingly aren't happy with the comments made by Kuzma. Contrarily if the show was on the other foot, one wonders how Markkanen would react. Maybe the two are closer friends than many first thought. Whether or not they are, the comments do come off as insensitive. Markkanen must make the ultimate sacrifice of living out his dream to serve his country. Something that would crush most of us in the United States. Despite the hate for the tweet, Kuzma has yet to delete his comments. Markkanen has yet to publicly comment on the situation involving Kuzma.

Beyond the comments, Kuzma has found a resurgence in his career in Washington, D.C. The former Los Angeles Laker seems to be fitting in perfectly with the role on the Wizards. However, the Wizards didn't have a good enough season to compete in this year's playoffs. Do you think Kyle Kuzma's comments were too far? Or do you feel the Wizards star just made a poor attempt at humor? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here with HNHH.
