Its safe to say Big Baby D.R.A.M. has been taking a particular liking to the new Soundcloud rap generation. Back in June, he teased a new collar with South Florida’s Smokepurpp, which looks to have been featured on Purpp’s new project Deadstar today, and later brought out XXXtentacion in Los Aneles during his set opening up for Kendrick Lamar’s "DAMN" tour in August, but that's still not all. A couple days ago, D.R.A.M. teased a new song with internet sensation Trippie Redd on Twitter, and alas here it is. At the stroke of midnight, D.R.A.M. released a raunchy new song with Trippie Redd called “Ill Nana.”
Staying in his lane, D.R.A.M. hops on this Slade Da Monsta-produced beat and delivers a bouncy, and melodic club record that finds him & Trippie wanting that “ill nana,” better known as the punany. Trippie & his voice effects croon about getting the guap & your girl’s kitty, while Big Baby D.R.A.M. handle the hook and reference trying to slide their bananas into some “ill nana’s.” “lll Nana, she got that ill nana, Damn it feel so good/ make me want throw my kielbasa in that/ Ill Nana, she got that ill nana/ Berry is so sweet, it make me throw my big banana in it,” D.R.A.M. sings.
Highlighted by its catchy vibe & bouncy production, “Ill Nana” is another radio-friendly record that could find great success for DRAM, just like “Broccolli.” Shit’s pretty wavvy if you ask me. It’s unclear at the moment on where this will end up, but hopefully there's more on the way.
