JJ Redick tells the fans what Joel Embiid is really trying to accomplish.

Joel Embiid's absence from the 76ers' matchup with the Nuggets on Monday was a bummer. Fans around the league were anticipating a battle between the two potential MVPs, Embiid and Jokic. Instead, Jokic put on a show while Embiid was sidelined with an apparent injury. According to Embiid's former teammate JJ Redick, he believes this is all part of the plan.

Jokic is a two-time MVP winner as Emiid is chasing his first. The meeting this past Monday would have been the second between the two.
