If anyone is having a wild weekend at this moment, it's obviously Jonathan Majors. The 33-year-old was arrested on Saturday (March 25) morning, after allegedly assaulting a 30-year-old woman during a taxi ride. Some reports have said that the rumoured victim is the actor's girlfriend. She apparently saw a text from another woman come in on his phone. This caused an altercation to break out between them as she attempted to read the message. Paparazzi cameras caught the accused leaving an NYC courthouse yesterday evening. He was markedly wearing a cap with "FREEDOM FREEDOM" written on it.

As fans continue to seek answers about the accusations brought against Majors, his attorney is vehemently denying the claims. "[Jonathan is] completely innocent. [He's] probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows," Priya Chaudhry told PEOPLE in a statement. "We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently," she added.

"This evidence includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place. Witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations," Chaudhry's statement on behalf of Majors concluded. While she sounds confident that her client's name will soon be cleared, the U.S. Army is doing its part to avoid controversy by pulling recent ad campaigns which feature the Creed III star.

According to Deadline, the multimillion-dollar rollout has been placed on hold today (March 26) in wake of the assault, strangulation, and harassment charges brought against him. "The U.S. Army is aware of the arrest of Jonathan Majors and we are deeply concerned by the allegations surrounding his arrest," Laura DeFrancisco, Army Enterprise Marketing Office spokesperson told the outlet. "While Mr. Majors is innocent until proven guilty, prudence dictates that we pull our ads until the investigation into these allegations is complete."
