Young Nudy

<p>Atlanta rapper Young Nudy took to Instagram yesterday (February 23rd) to announce the release date of his upcoming album, <em>Gumbo</em>. The 13-track album will be dropping on February 28th and features his cousin, <a href="/profile/21savage" class="text-word" target="_blank" >21 Savage</a>, as well as Key Glock. The 30-year-old artist also revealed the cover art and tracklist for <em>Gumbo</em> in his post, captioned, &#8220;[G]UMBO February #28 #NUN #TO #DO.&#8221; </p>



<p>As insinuated by the shrimp and mushroom emoji in the post&#8217;s caption, <em>Gumbo</em>&#8216;s tracklist is fully inspired by different foods. With songs named &#8220;Duck Meat,&#8221; &#8220;McChicken,&#8221; and &#8220;Portabella,&#8221; Nudy has channeled his appetite for success into his newest project. After releasing &#8220;Loaded Baked Potato&#8221; and &#8220;Barbecue&#8221; in his album <em>Nudy Land</em>, the rapper has earned a reputation for naming his tracks after snacks. However, <em>Gumbo</em> is his first project fully dedicated to food names. The post also revealed the album&#8217;s cover art, which stylistically features a red dinner table outfitted with plates of the song titles, a gun, and a stack of bills. In the center of the table setting is a statue of a snake, hungrily gazing over a bowl of gumbo. </p>

<p>Nudy released his vibey mixtape <em><a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/411824-young-nudy-returns-with-11-track-ea-monster-album-featuring-babydrill-new-mixtape" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">EA Monster</a></em> last year, which also featured a few tracks boasting a food-inspired name. &#8220;KitKat&#8221; and &#8220;Lunch Meat&#8221; fall alongside tracks like &#8220;Impala&#8221; and <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/411155-young-nudy-shows-out-on-ea-monster-opener-nun-to-do-new-song" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">&#8220;Nun To Do</a>.&#8221; The resulting project is the 11-song collection that earned Nudy a loyal following. Right now, Nudy is set to embark on an 8-week tour presented by Rolling Loud, which will include a set at the California festival.   </p>



<p>After the announcement of <em>Gumbo</em>, fans excitedly took to Twitter to share their enthusiasm.
