A$ton Matthews releases his new single "Phantom Of The Opera" with Velous.

A$ton Matthews has been a name that's been popping up for quite sometime. The Los Angeles rapper had a very tight relationship with A$AP Yams prior to his passing and also was featured on the first A$AP Mob mixtape. While it's been over three years since he's delivered us a full project, he's spent the majority of this year dropping loose singles here and there. The releases may be relatively sporadic however, there's no doubt that when he does drop a new song it's pretty tight. Today, A$ton Matthews links up Velous for his new single "Phantom Of The Opera."

A$ton Matthews delivers a pretty serious banger with "Phantom Of The Opera." Which you could probably assume the hook is referring to a car. Laced with some serious auto-tune on the hook, Velous delivers a melodic and slightly haunting hook that's bound to stick in your head. Matthews comes through with his vicious and aggressive flow on this one that matches the ferocity of his bars. Velous provides the beat on this song, which has some epic strings at the forefront of some hard-hitting drums. It's another solid effort by Matthews.

While he releases single after single throughout this year, he's also been teasing Chapovelli for quite sometime. As he hasn't really been putting out a lot of music, we could assume that hopefully it'll be going towards the project. Back at the top of August, he released the video for "Night To Remember" with Da$h and prior to that, we premiered his single "Ever Since" in May.

Meanwhile, Velous' single "Flip Mode" got a remix from both Fabolous and Chris Brown which is rumored to be on Fab's next project. Hopefully we'll be receiving more music from Velous in the future.

Quotable Lyrics
Face on top of faces
Bitches back to back
Commas after commas
Zeroes after that
