Post Malone chugged a beer out of a fan's shoe while on stage at a recent concert. The moment was recorded in a video going viral on social media, this week. “How did we get here?” he asks the excited crowd. It appears to come from the same performance, which was in Sydney, Australia, that prompted concern from fans about Post Malone's health. In another clip from the night, the Twelve Carat Toothache rapper made odd on-stage movements while performing "I Fall Apart."
A representative for Malone later confirmed to TMZ that the singer is doing fine. In fact, his weight loss came after he previously gained weight for a movie role. Post Malone’s father also downplayed the concerns, commenting on a fan's post, "Healthiest he’s been in years! Mentally and physically."
Post Malone's Concerning Performance
Fans have been expressing their concerns for the rapper on social media throughout the week. “Just saw a video of Post Malone in a show. He looks bad. Jerking and looks like he lost weight. I hope he’s ok. That’s my dude,” one person tweeted. “I’m a bit worried that you lost so much weight.. I’m not used to it. Stay healthy please,” another added. Other fans defended him: “Post malone isn’t doing hard core drugs anymore, that’s why his music has changed so drastically and he looks so much healthier. he’s singing with passion now if he was stiff then it’s like ???? but how else is he supposed to sing i fall apart?”
Post Malone discussed his improving mental health during an interview on the Howard Stern Show, back in June 2022. He explained that he had been dealing with a “rough” battle with alcoholism beforehand.
