As DC continues to play catch up to Marvel’s increasingly expansive extended universe, the next step is the release of Wonder Woman. Played by Gal Gadot, we get a look at the Amazon woman originally known as Diana Prince as a child, setting the stage for her ascendance to a superhero. Check out the third trailer below.
After a glimpse into Wonder Woman’s past, we get some alternative footage telling the story of a lost World War II soldier who ends up on Paradise Island. While we’ll never be able explain why Chris Pine’s character ever leaves the island, he and Wonder Woman are soon traveling through Europe fighting off the Nazi menace.
We’ll get a chance to see Wonder Woman in action on June 2.
