Maroon 5 calls on TDE's first lady SZA for their new pop-friendly single "What Lovers Do."

Adam Levine & his Maroon 5 group are calling on TDE once again. About a year or so after linking up with Kendrick Lamar for the song “Don’t Wanna Know,” the pop group decides to call on TDE’s first lady SZA for their brand new single “What Lovers Do.”

Serving as the follow up to “Cold” with Future, “What Lovers Do” is an upbeat, radio-friendly record that finds Adam crooning effortlessly about love & luck, while SZA shows off her soft vocals & handles the catchy hook over production from Ben Billions & Jason Evigan. Highlighted by its infectious production & dance-friendly vibe, “What Lovers Do” is another strong addition to Maroon’ 5’s steady growing catalogue of hits, and should almost certainly find its way onto the airwaves soon. Look for it to see life on Maroon 5’s upcoming follow up to 2014’s V album, which is expected to arrive later this year.

Last week, Levine posted a video clip on social media from his time on the video set, where he’s laying in a hospital bed bandaged up as SZA plays the role of a nurse. Look for that video to be coming soon. In the meantime, enjoy the new record & share your thoughts on it (below). Single available now on iTunes.

If you wish to catch SZA live in person, you're in luck, the TDE first lady is currently in the midst of a North American tour in support of her CTRL album. See tour dates right here if interested.

Quotable Lyrics:

Say say say, hey hey now baby
You gon' make me hit you with that lay down baby (oh)
Say say say, hey hey now baby
You know what I need out the gate now baby
