Clans & Cliks

Cliks and Clans collide.

The late Sean Price's posthumous album Imperius Reis upon us, and with it comes no shortage of raw lyrical hip-hop. While the album is sure to please Price fans, the action-packed cut "Clans & Cliks" has too powerful a cast to miss. The track finds members of both the Boot Camp Clik and the Wu-Tang Clan, and pays homage to their lyrical accomplishments with a self-referential chorus.

With verses from Smif-N-Wessun, Sean Price, Rock, Raekwon, Foul Monday, Method Man, & Inspectah Deck, the track is basically a full blown posse cut. Each rapper has ample time to impress, but Method Man generally tends to shine on these types of ventures.

Quotable Lyrics

Who these kids in the hall?
This is bigger than ya'll
Monkeys in the middle, I might middle finger em' all
I ain't got no issues, if you scared then get you a dog
I might Michael Vick you, take from the rich and give to the poor

- Method Man
