After dropping what many fans considered to be an underwhelming debut, Nav went and enlisted Metro Boomin to concoct another batch of heat. Well, early results seem positive. Metro brings his trademark eerie trap vibe to Toronto, lacing Nav with a chime based instrumental. The subdued drums give Nav plenty of room to flow about the usual subjects, chiefly his finesse with the ladies and ballerific lifestyle.
Almost effortlessly, Metro Boomin continues to provide rappers with consistent heat. While Nav hasn't appeared to branch out with his subject matter, he seems to have found a production style that suits him. If this is the intro to his project, it's safe to say that things are starting off on the right foot.
