YFN Lucci's new project Long Live Nut is a tribute to his mentor, Nut, who helped the rapper find his way in the industry but passed away just before the release of his debut mixtape. Lucci's best songs always have a hint of melancholy, and that emotion is felt throughout the new EP, including "Heartless," on which Lucci croons "Lately, I've been feelin' like / Fuck a hater, fuck a cop." Rick Ross, who is fresh off of releasing his Rather you Than Me album. In an interview with Billboard, Lucci expressed his satisfaction with earning a Rozay feature, as well as revealing that the Boosie feature is also of great importance to him.
"I’m super proud of this project because I not only got the big boss [Rick Ross] on my third project, but I’ve also got Boosie, the OG, and he’s one my favorite rappers. With this project, you're going to see the work I’ve put into it and see my growth."
