The last time HNHH heard from Lion Babe was back in 2014 when they made their debut on the website alongside Childish Gambino for their hit single "Jump Hi." Today the NYC duo is back with their enchanting new single "Rockets."
This otherworldly track has a shimmering energy to it that is reminiscent of Erykah Badu, but in its own lane, boasting a unique aura and genuine appeal. Vocalist Jillian Hervey conquers the vintage production from Lucas Goodman and calls on Moe Moks for assistance as they proclaim "We lit." With this comeback release, Lion Babe has us feeling as high as the spaceships and rockets Hervey sings about in the song.
