Young Greatness returns with a new Drumma Boy-produced track.

Last year, Young Greatness found a hit in "Moolah," a street anthem that brought legendary Atlanta producer Jazze Pha back to the charts. Since then he's been keeping the new music coming, always repping his hometown of New Orleans, but continuing to embrace ATL production.

Today, he shares "Nikes" which finds him working with Drumma Boy, a beatmaker who found success in Atlanta in the early 00s through his visionary trap production. On this collab, Drumma updates his sound to fit the 808 Mafia generation, while Greatness continues to experiment with melody. As he described in our interview earlier this year, Greatness attributes the rise of melody in rap to NO, or specifically, Juvenile, explaining that the way people from the area speak has is naturally melodic.

Greatness dropped his I Tried To Tell Em 2 mixtape earlier this year. You can stream and download it here.

Quotable Lyrics:

A couple real n*ggas died, man
With some Nikes on
Cold streets, n*gga, ate 'em up
Like some pythons
No insurance, man
40 bands in a Nike box
