After insisting for years that The Cool Kids would never reunite, Chuck Inglish recently announced amazing news: the band is getting back together. Now, kick off their mission to Chuck and Sir Michael Rocks to revive their cult following of yore by releasing their first song in five years: "Running Man."

Joining the Midwest duo on the track is the young Houston trapper Maxo Kream, who seems right at home among the Cool Kids' characteristically eclectic lyrics and dark, richly textured beats. Not much has changed, it seems.

Listen to "Running Man" and read HNHH's Behind the Beat profile of Chuck Inglish.

Quotable Lyrics

Bolt, nine second 100 meter sprint
Four 12's boomin' on Suzuki with them tins
I'm still banging Screw moving slower than a tick
Off the drank, purple rain, and screaming rest in peace to Prince
Back in 1999, the revolution was the time
You get to chirping like a bird, it sound like When Them Doves Cry
