Damn, Ebro. Back at it again with the world premiere, the second time today, both songs hailing from the upcoming Netflix series "The Get Down." Earlier this afternoon we posted Janelle Monae's contribution to the hip-hop-centric TV show, "Hum Along & Dance (Get Down)," and now Ebro has quickly returned with a big collaboration from the show, "Losing Your Mind."
Two free spirits, Raury and Jaden Smith, link up for "Losing Your Mind," marking their first collaboration together. Much like with the Janelle Monae premiere, both artists hopped on the phone with Ebro to discuss the song prior to the premiere. Jaden Smith also has a role in the TV series, which he speaks on with Ebro, before getting into a broader discussion of the show and what it means. You can jump straight to the song at 4:55. Whereas Janelle took us back to the '70s, Raury and Jaden's collaboration is a bit more sleek and modern, with drum patterns keeping it grounded in the past.
