Listen to a blissful new instrumental from Belgian producer Alex Lustig: "Light."

Alex Lustig is a producer all the way from Antwerp, Belgium who has been making serious moves in the rap game, producing for the likes of Skeme, Dizzy Wright, and Machine Gun Kelly. His production on last month's For No Good Reason, a joint EP with Vegas rapper Euroz, was particularly compelling. Lustig is about to release a project of his own, Pure, and he has now shared the first track off the EP: "Light."

With "Light," it's clear that Lustig is much more than a hip-hop producer, though he's certainly a welcome addition to the genre. It's a gorgeous, upbeat instrumental made of shimmering synths and angelic vocal samples, heard at a variety of pitches. His proximity to the electronic hubs in Europe is evident in his sound, though Lustig's work with the 808s, giving "Light" an immersive hip-hop pulse, is also impressive.

Pure is out this Wednesday, May 11.
