Ty Dolla $ign recently revealed that his extremely underrated debut album, Free TC, would be re-released with some new tracks in the near future, and today, he appears to have delivered one of those bonus cuts. "Long Time" has a lot to live up to given its collaborators, Quavo and Metro Boomin, and naturally, they both deliver on their contributions to the song, which thanks to Metro, cruises along at a steady clip, but never breaks from a smoky, ambient feel.
Meanwhile, Quavo sticks to his signature triplet quotables, but Ty is still the star of the show, effortlessly stringing together an instantly infectious hook that he repeats throughout. Look out for the Free TC re-up this Friday.
