Charlie Puth is still riding the wave from his debut Nine Track Mind, and he gives it another push by enlisting Vince Staples for a verse and AndreaLo for a brand new beat. Unlike a lot of remixes that end up being extended versions of the original track, “Suffer (Remix)” is a remix in the true sense of the word.
AndreaLo’s beat is much harder hitting than the original, turning the track from a longing love song to a sensuous bedroom jam. The video reflects the change, as it features Puth and a video vixen filming their own tape throughout Puth’s house. Staples’ verse is great as usual.
