Slim Jxxmi, one half of Rae Sremmurd, has come through with another big-time remix. He began dropping solo remixes last month, first taking on Wiz Khalifa's "Burn Slow," which happened to originally feature his younger brother, Swae Lee. He then went after "Blow a Check," the rising club hit from Miami rapper Zoey Dollaz that Puffy and French Montana remixed on MMM. For his latest, Jxmmi is back with a remix of Migos' ubiquitous summer hit "Pipe It Up," which has already scored a remix from Jeezy and 2 Chainz.
It's clear Jxmmi is at his best when he's atop club crushing beats like this one from Murda Beatz, but he's definitely got some lyrics to replace the redundancy of the original. And his energetic verse is enough to add some shelf life to the banger that's been a club staple since the summertime.
