More ferocious material from Waka Flocka. As there's no release date in sight for his already finished album, Flockaveli 2, Flocka has decided to bypass his label, Atlantic, and drop Flockaveli 1.5, which will be a "free album." He comes through today with the first song off the free release, which will be out in a week, on November 19. "Blue or Red" is a banger produced by two of ATL's finest: Southside and Metro Boomin.
The new track finds Waka tackling the blue vs. red dichotomy, as many rappers have done this year, including Kendrick Lamar and The Game. For Waka, there isn't much difference between the two primary colors: "Ride on a n*gga, it don't matter blue or red."
This is the type of Waka we hoped to hear on Flockaveli 2. Luckily, we've got Flockaveli 1.5 to hold us over.
