A bout a month ago, G Herbo a.k.a. The Artist Formerly Known As Lil Herb posted a couple Instagram shots of him in the studio with one Joey Bada$$. They were met with intrigue and confusion as Herb and Joey tend to ride in different lanes, but being the talented individuals that they are, they form a potent duo regardless.
As it turns out, they were cooking up "Lord Knows," a Metro Boomin production, thus forming a modern-day CHI-NYC-ATL Bermuda Triangle. Shoutout to the Red Bull Sound Select program for bringing these gentlemen together.
“Me and Joey are on a whole other level of rap music for the young niggas right now," Herbo told Fader. "We are both from different worlds almost but we connect together on an artist level. We bring our different styles together and create good music.”
