Next week, Saigon will release the third installment of his Greatest Story Never Told album series, this one subtitled The Troubled Times Of Brian Carenard. Before that, the NY spitter has freed one more cut from the project. "Street Gospel" also features P Jericho, and it opens with a sample from a Jimi Hendrix interview.

Like most of Saigon's music, "Street Gospel" sounds like it could've dropped before we knew that Y2K was a hoax, and this time, specifically like the early days of Roc-A-Fella. Over a bombastic, Just Blaze-style beat, Saigon tells the tale of meeting Jimmy Iovine in one of his dreams.

Quotable Lyrics:

Last night in my dream, I seen Mr. Jimmy
All that I could do was ask him '
I said, 'Jimmy who you got speakin' at these marketing meetings?'
Why don't the poor people talk that they seekin'?
