Far East Movement and YG connect on "Grimey Thirsty".

EDM and rap continue to interact, whether it be through electronic producers channelling the trap sounds coming out of Atlanta, or rappers lending their vocals to dance hitmakers. Both of these scenarios can be found on DJ Snake's smash hit, "Turn Down For What", which not only uses Lil Jon's mantra, but also features an epic drop inspired by Lex Luger's high hat-heavy production.

The most recent fusion of the two genres comes with Far East Movement's "Grimey Thirsty", which is primarily an instrumental, but features a verse from west coast MVP YG. Does it work? Let us know in the comments below.

Quotable Lyrics:
Police pull me over
Driving while black
Search the car for an hour
Trying to find the strap
