22 Savage takes the internet by storm.

Baton Rouge rapper MacArthur Johnson has minor waves across the internet with music videos released under a variety of personas, including Mighty Mike, Funny Ass Mike, and girlhefunny. Now he has recast himself as 22 Savage in a bald-faced attempt to capitalize on the recent success of 21 Savage.

"I just felt like jacking him," 22 Savage said in an interview with SOHH. "I’m really a savage out here. I’m really in the slums. What people don’t understand is that underneath this funny, it’s really real. We’re in the streets. I’m a street nigga trying to make it out anyway I can."

22 Savage, who bears a close resemblance to 21 Savage, has co-opted 21's rapping style on numerous tracks and recently announced plans to release a mixtape called Savage Mode.

Oh, one more thing: in May, 22 Savage was accused of fatally shooting a 20-year-old after an argument over a party flyer. He claimed innocence and "self-defense."
