DaeSmoove talks about having a "LOX mentality" on the track that landed him among our heatseekers finalists, and the NY trio's influence is definitely present in his sound. His grimy rap-style and dark production are reminiscent of many of New York's mean-mug finest, Mobb Deep in particular comes to mind.
DaeSmoove has enough personality to transcend the comparisons however, and is certainly a new artist to watch for.
