Mac Miller's 2011 track "Donald Trump" landed him in a feud with Trump, as the Apprentice host and businessman taunted the rapper on Twitter with threats of a lawsuit back in 2013. Three years later, Donald Trump has been elected president of the United States, and for some reason -- as Pigeons and Planes points out -- it's sent Mac Miller's track back to the iTunes charts.Currently at number 34, it's not exactly clear why people are downloading Mac's track the day after Trump's victory. While Mac has done everything he can to let people know he is anti-Trump in the years since its release, the song is a casual alignment with Trump's business sense, as Mac raps "Take over the world when I'm on my Donald Trump shit." Does this mean Trump supporters are listening to the track as a celebration of his win? Are those who despise Trump supporting it in some sort of protest? Is it just a keyword-type deal?Whatever it is, Mac's track is back on people's radar. The rapper released his soulful and melodic new album The Divine Feminine earlier this year. Stream it here.
