Most of you are aware of the recent tiff between Joe Budden & Drake by now, but for those of you who don’t let’s bring you up to speed right quick.

So it all started a few months ago on Joey’s podcast show when the Jersey rapper expressed his disappointment in Drake’s Views album. Then days later, a snippet surfaced online of Drake & French Montana in the studio working on what we now know is the song “No Shopping,” and the opening line of “Pump, pump it up” which people thought was a jab at Joey.

As a result, Joey clapped back on wax and released the first of his three new diss tracks called “Making A Murderer Pt. 1,” which was followed by “Wake” & “Afraid.” While Drake refused to make any type of rebuttal, the official song of “No Shopping” surfaced online over the weekend, and it sounds like it’s filled with shots aimed at the Slaughterhouse rapper.

So earlier this week, Charlamagne Tha God & Andrew Schultz had Joey come by their Brilliant Idiots podcast and clear the air on why he’s been going at Drake.

“I’m hurt. I am hurt. I’m appalled that n—- who know my pen game, he know I don’t care about none of that fame, success, attention, none of that,” he said. “He know what I do. And you want to use your celebrity to do that to me? We smoked hookah together. How could you do that?” - Joey
