In promotion of Kevin Durant's recently released "Mic Drop" Nike KD9, the Warriors forward [still getting used to that] sat down with Rob Markman from Genius to discuss all things music including what it's like to be name dropped by so many high profile artists.
From Drake, Fabolous, Jay Z and Logic, Durant broke down some of the lyrics that referenced his athletic prowess, including the time he hopped in the booth for a track with Wale.
Durant also talked about his preferred pre-game playlist which, according to him, is often dismissed by his younger teammates who have never even heard of Jay Z's "Big Pimpin" let alone the musical stylings of Teddy Pendergrass.
