DJ Khaled is Apple Music's new de facto spokesman. In a new Beats 1 commercial released earlier this week, he cruises down the Pacific Crest Highway in a droptop Phantom driven by Naomi Campbell. He even gets a smooch from Campbell in the process. Major key!!!
Just days later, Apple Music has released another new Khaled commercial. This one involves Khaled and actor Ray Liotta.
In the commercial, Khaled and Liotta hit the nail salon, where they banter back and forth while being pampered by multiple nail technicians. Liotta doubts the power of Apple Music and Khaled is more than happy to prove him wrong. Liotta requests The Doobie Brother's "Minute by Minute" (which you may recognize as the sample in Meek Mill's "Amen"). Khaled queues it up instantaneously. Checkmate, Khaled! There's also a Goodfellas joke thrown in at the end for good measure.
