Today we're introducing you to NYC's Downtown Dion, who's making his HNHH debut with a video for the Harry Fraud-produced "Payback." Check out the Lower East Side native's new visuals for his track "Payback" above.
A member of Fraud's SRFSCHL clique, Dion makes more frequent use of auto-tune than the imprint's other artists Nacho Picasso and Daytona, making his sound a little less tied to NYC. That's to his benefit, though, as "Payback" in particular features a great synthesis of sounds across regions and subgenres, all tied together by Dion's confident handling of the song's melody.
