The Album About Nothing dropped today, and to coincide with the release, Wale just released the latest episode of his vlog series with Jerry Seinfeld. Each episode takes its name and premise from a Seinfeld episode, and after "The Matrimony" and "The White Shoes", the latest episode is titled "The Phone Call".
The clip starts with Wale and Jerry in the studio having just finished the final recordings of TAAN. Wale says, "I think it's ready", calls up his boss Rick Ross, and then puts Jerry on the phone. The awkward but hilarious phone call between Jerry and Rozay plays like a sitcom, with laugh tracks interspersed throughout.
