Yo Gotti recently got some massive recognition from his hometown of Memphis, TN.
The rapper shared a video of himself receiving the keys to the city of Memphis, which took place during the fifth annual Yo Gotti & Friends Birthday Bash. City officials brought out the plaque and declared that June 29th will now be known as Yo Gotti Day.
The caption for the video reads, "Life Crazy, Top Of The Week I Get Letter Sayin They Tryna Ban Me Form #RidgecrestApt My Hood ... Then Last Night They Gave Me A KEY TO THE CITY🔑 & 'A DAY' THEY OFFICIALLY MADE JUNE 29th Yo Gotti DAY! SH!T #Legendary."
Gotti and Meek Mill will kick off their Against All Odds tour in Cleveland, OH tomorrow and will be wrapping up the run of shows on August 8 in Seattle, Wash. Check out the video of the key ceremony below.
