On Monday night, thousands of fans left Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome disappointed after a promoter announced that Drake would not be taking the stage due to illness. No specifics were given as to the rapper's condition, but the last minute announcement had at least a few people speculating that the city's lax weed laws had played a part in his sickness.

According to TMZ, it was actually some "bad sushi" that had Drake out of commission. Citing "sources close to Drizzy," the publication says Drake had to get immediate medical treatment, and unfortunately was not well enough to take the stage by the time the show rolled around.

One fan claimed they were waiting 75 minutes before the cancellation was announced -- so, it's safe to say the crowd was not pleased with how things were handled.

A rep for the promotion company said that Drake will now perform at the venue on Wednesday. This is not the first time Drake has rescheduled Amsterdam dates on his The Boy Vs. World tour
