A federal grand jury has reportedly decided to pursue weapons charges against Taxstone for his role in last year's Irving Plaza shooting.

Popular podcast host Taxstone has been indicted on weapons charges by a federal grand jury for his role in last year's fatal shooting at New York City's Irving Plaza.

According to documents obtained by Bossip, the jury decided to prosecute Taxstone for charges of felon in possession of a firearm and firearm purchase through interstate commerce.

Taxstone was arrested in January after authorities found his DNA all over the 9-millimeter Kel-Tec semiautomatic handgun that was used to kill Ronald McPhatter in an Irving Plaza green room last May. Last summer, the gun was found in the mini-van used to transport Troy Ave to the hospital after Troy inadvertently shot himself in the leg on the night of the shooting. Troy has pled not guilty to second-degree murder and other charges in this case.

The minimum sentence for a felon in possession of a firearm is one year; the maximum sentence of 10 years. Taxstone is currently being held without bail.
