Following the Cleveland Cavaliers' shoot around this morning, LeBron James was asked about the 2017 All-Star voting, specifically how players now had the ability to vote for their peers.
One reporter chimed in that there were some "goofy votes" which set LeBron up for a line about how Donald Trump is now the President of the United State because of goofy votes.
"There’s always goofy votes," LeBron said. "I mean, Donald Trump is our president."
LeBron publicly endorsed Hillary Clinton throughout her presidential campaign so it's not a surprise that he took an opportunity to throw shade at President Trump, but he delivered his verbal jab with the swift, comedic timing of a seasoned vet.
