The 2016 election is long over, and it appears that Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States. Many blame Trump's victory on the corruption within the Democratic Party. One salient bystander, President Barack Obama, doesn't think that's exactly it. In a recent interview, Obama made the claim that he could have won the 2016 election if he were allowed to run again. Here's the excerpt from Obama's interview with David Axelrod:
"I am confident in this vision because I'm confident that if I had run again and articulated it, I think I could've mobilized a majority of the American people to rally behind it. I know that in conversations that I've had with people around the country, even some people who disagreed with me, they would say the vision, the direction that you point towards is the right one."
