Drake has received some heat for failing to plant a smooch on Rihanna's lips (which was seemingly his plan) Sunday night as he presented her Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs.
But all was not lost for Drake, who prefaced the attempted kiss by proclaiming that “[Rihanna is] someone I've been in love with since I was 22 years old." They attended a VMAs afterparty together, after which Drake posted a picture of the two of them cozying up. According to Hollywood Life, they kept the good times rolling the following night with a date at the upscale Japanese restaurant Nobu in New York.
