The streets of Ferguson are in an uproar tonight after a grand jury determined that Darren Wilson, the police officer who shot unarmed teenager Mike Brown to death in August, would not be facing criminal charges for his actions. Wilson, who is white, became a national figure after he shot the black 18-year-old multiple times on a residential street. Witnesses claim that Brown was surrendering when shot, while an autopsy seems to indicate that the teen may have reached for Wilson's gun. Regardless of what Brown did prior to the event, however, most parties agree that the use of lethal force was unprovoked.

The hip-hop community has reacted passionately following the jury's decision. Many emcees have expressed frustration with the system. Meanwhile, Macklemore has been spotted on the streets in Ferguson, marching with protesters. Q-Tip, too, has led a protest in Times Square.

More reactions will likely be coming in over the coming days. Stay tuned.
