Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

"Peacocks, Peacoats, Flavor & Paper" isn't the only Chief Keef project we're waiting for.

It's somewhat ironic. Chief Keef gives us so much music on a weekly basis, yet he owes us just as much. How is this possible? Well, he either has a terrible memory, or he is naturally bad at keeping promises.

The fact is this: in the past two years, Chief Keef has announced over a dozen projects that still haven't been released online. These may include solo albums, mixtapes, EPs, or joint projects with other artists.

Just last month, Keef announced his collaborative EP with Metro Boomin' titled Peacocks, Peacoats, Flavor & Paper, would be released on Halloween. Quietly, the holiday came and went without the project arriving. Instead of offering an explanation on why PPF&P was delayed, Keef decided to announce another new mixtape, Finally Rolling 2. Strangely enough, FR2 already has a confirmed tracklist, and is scheduled to drop on Saturday. Meanwhile, PPF&P continues to collect dust even before it has been officially released.

Frustrating, right? Take a journey down memory lane, and recount all the various projects Chief Keef never followed through with.

Gloyalty

Scheduled release date: N/A

Gloyalty was originally intended to be Chief Keef’s sophomore album. In December 2013, following the release of Almighty So, Keef posted the album cover via Instagram. Almost a full year later, he leaked “Earned It” on his YouTube page. It’s hard to tell exactly why Gloyalty lost steam, but the album is basically dead today.

GLOTF (with Lil Durk)

Scheduled release date: N/A

GLOTF is an A+ mixtape title. Excitement for the project began back in November 2014 when Lil Durk sent out a tweet that read “OTF x GBE mixtape.” After a few months of nothingness, belief in the mixtape was restored when Durk and Chief Keef delivered the excellent “Decline” leak, which has since been remixed by Fetty Wap. Currently, Durk is prepping his upcoming mixtape, 300 Days 300 Nights. Hopefully once that is complete, the two can get back on the same page and release GLOTF.

GLOVO (with Drake)

Scheduled release date: N/A

What a time to commit a crime. Chief Keef and Drake might have a collaborative project brewing, but it’s pure speculation at this point. Thus far, there have been no leaks or rumored release dates for GLOVO, but it’s nonetheless a possibility considering Drake’s fondness of “Love Sosa.” In January, Keef warned us of the project’s whereabouts, captioning an Instagram post “Thou not ready!” Let’s not count out GLOVO just yet, though.

Blood Thicker Than Water (with Fredo Santana)

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: N/A

If a Chief Keef x Drake project never formulates, perhaps one with Glo Gang affiliate Fredo Santana will. Considering their similar styles and fan bases, a joint album between Keef and Santana would surely be a slam dunk. In February 2014, Santana confirmed the album’s existence via Twitter. Later in the year, “Beetlejuice” leaked, and fans have since been hungry for Blood Thicker Than Water to arrive. Expect this album to drop sooner rather than later.

Me & @ChiefKeef coming out wit a album #BloodThickerThanWater Glo Gang / SavageSquadRecords who ready ????

Big Gucci Sosa 2 (with Gucci Mane)

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: N/A

We can’t entirely put the blame on Chief Keef for this one. In February, the incarcerated Gucci Mane tweeted that Big Gucci Sosa 2 was on the way. No leaks have arrived yet, but hopefully the project takes shape soon, because the first Big Gucci Sosa project was dope. Given the fact that GuWop is rumored to be released from prison in the near future, it could still happen. For those out of the loop, on Halloween 2014, Chief Keef released Back From The Dead 2 and Big Gucci Sosa on the same day.

S/O to @ChiefKeef .. #BIGGUCCISOSA2 on the way !!!!!

Bang 4

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: N/A

Bang 4 (aka ‘B4 Da EP Bfo B3’) was a ridiculous concept to begin with. At the time, Chief Keef’s highly-anticipated album Bang 3 had not yet arrived, but Bang 4 was scheduled to come first in efforts to hype up the album. Somewhere along the line this plan fell apart, and Bang 4 was never released. However, we did receive the bangin’ single “Lucky Bastard.”

Mansion Musick

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: November 28th, 2014

Looking back at its tracklist, Mansion Musick had the potential to be Chief Keef’s best mixtape. Initially scheduled to drop “Glovember 28th,” the tape would’ve included bangers like “Colors,” “Money Can’t” and “Randy Moss.” For reasons unknown, the tape never dropped, however there may still be hope. In August, Keef taunted its release by posting an alternative Mansion Musick cover, with the caption reading “Go get that B3.” Now that promo for Bang 3 has passed, perhaps he will point his focus back to Mansion Musick.

UFOverload 2

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: December 25th, 2014

Unfortunately, Chief Keef fans had one less gift to open on Christmas. UFOverload 2, the sequel to an early Keef mixtape that is virtually impossible to find on the internet, was supposed to drop on December 25th. The tape was initially intended to release on New Year’s Day, but was later pushed forward a week. Aside from its false release date, Keef offered little information regarding UFOverload 2, although he did unveil its vibrant cover via Instagram.

Crashing Computers

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: January 1st, 2015

After UFOverload 2, Chief Keef was supposed to drop another mixtape, Crashing Computers. In November 2014, he leaked “Where” and “Off With His Head” on his YouTube page. Anticipation for the project was so strong, that, literally, computers practically crashed when a fake version of the mixtape was uploaded on YouTube. Following that hoax, it was only further disappointment, as New Year’s Day came and the real Crashing Computers project was nowhere to be found. Consider this mixtape dead, along with UFOverload 2.

Thot Breaker

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: February 14, 2015

Following the announcements of Mansion Musick, UFOverload 2, and Crashing Computers (all which never fully materialized), Chief Keef was expected to drop Thot Breaker on Valentine's Day. To build up hype, he released “Now and Later” featuring Tyga in October 2014. When Valentine’s Day finally arrived, Keef released a second leak, “Know She Does,” instead of the full mixtape. Months later, we’re still waiting for Thot Breaker...

Ok I know I missed mansion musick it has to be great! But ☝️ Like if u ready for #THOTBREAKER #ValentinesDay

Dedication

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: N/A

Just one day following the release of his Sorry 4 The Weight mixtape, Chief Keef hinted at another Lil Wayne-inspired project, Dedication. Similar to S4TW, Dedication drew its title and cover directly from Wayne’s 2005 mixtape of the same name. Although the full tape never came to fruition, we did receive the leaks “Hate Me Now” and “Dipset.” Who knows, maybe Keef will tackle Da Drought series next.

Best Of Glo Worlds (with Glo Gang)

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: May 25th, 2015

In February 2014, Chief Keef suggested via Instagram that a joint project between him and Tadoe was in the works. It would be titled Best of Glo Worlds, but we didn’t receive much more information than that. Then, in April of this year, Keef all of a sudden announced it would release on Memorial Day. No longer a joint effort between him and Tadoe, it was set to feature appearances from Tray Savage, Benji Glo, and other Gang members. However, hype for Best of Glo Worlds fizzled out when Keef turned his focus on a new project, Tha Cozart.

Memorial Day. Finna Show Yall Some Turnt Shit! Gllllllloooooooooooooooo

Tha Cozart

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: N/A

Sticking with the Lil Wayne theme from earlier projects, Chief Keef’s next venture would playfully be titled Tha Cozart. On May 29th, Keef told fans the album would be coming “real soon.” He even suggested via Instagram that physical versions of Tha Cozart would be available at Best Buy and Target. For most of the summer, Keef kept the album’s cover as his profile photo on Twitter. The promotion seemed promising, but instead of delivering Tha Cozart, Keef gave us the long-awaited Bang 3 album in August. Tha Cozart is still a possibility, and according to a tweet from Keef, it may even feature a verse from Lil Wayne.

Best buys and Targets near you!!!!! Very soon "Powered By" @alkidavid @filmontvnetworks

Peacocks, Peacoats, Flavor & Paper (with Metro Boomin)

Silly Sosa: 14 Projects Chief Keef Still Hasn't Released

Scheduled release date: October 31st, 2015

Chief Keef’s joint EP with Metro Boomin’ was intended to drop on Halloween. So far, the Sean Kingston-assisted “Murda Mook” is the only leak we’ve received from the project. On November 2nd, Keef wrote via Instagram that PPF&P is “getting mastered as we speak.” While we wait, expect Keef’s collaborative mixtape with Sonny Digital, Back From The Dead 3, to arrive first (?!).

This or BFTD3? Ima drop something for y'all word to my mommy. Friday 13th Forsure! PPF&P getting mastered as we speak.
