When "Harlem Shake" played soundtrack to thousands of viral videos, Harry Rodrigues was just as surprised as the rest of us. He hadn't even cleared the samples to monetize the track, he was merely making some dance music in hopes to move bodies in the club. 

While the track didn't directly earn him the millions it could have had he gone about it legitimately, it did do wonders for his popularity. As a respected beat-maker and DJ, Baauer has since played massive festivals and collaborated with the likes of Just Blaze, Rae Sremmurd, Fetty Wap, Boys Noize, RL Grime, Flosstradamus and many more. He's capable of selling out huge rooms across the country, and it all started, more or less, with those silly videos.

With English duo AlunaGeorge and American duo Rae Sremmurd, Baauer was able to craft an alternative R&B / hip hop crossover selection in "One Touch."

Baauer's remix of "Rollup" by Flosstradamus ended up being lightyears more popular than the original. While both are solid tunes, Baauer's bass cannons really fire this one up.

"Clang" is chalk-full of odd sounds that make you wonder just how a producer could craft such a beat. It works perfectly as an instrumental, but we hope someone rides on it eventually, too.

Here's another track Baauer released along with "Harlem Shake." The style of music hadn't been done before, and we all know where the EDM / trap hybrid has gone in the three short years since. 

This track was Just Blaze's first foray into the dance world, and it's done wonders for him. Mixing tasteful hip hop production with a dance-floor focus birthed one of the better tracks out of both parties.
