Earlier this month, Lauryn Hill headed up a tribute compilation focused on the music of Nina Simone, one of the most revolutionary songwriters of the 20th century. Now that Nina Revisited... A Tribute To Nina Simone is out in the world, Hill's still promoting the project (which also features Jazmine Sullivan, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Common, Lisa Simone and more). Last night, that brought her to The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she performed an impassioned version of Simone's "Feeling Good"
Backed by a huge band, Hill showed us her considerable vocal prowess, classily embellishing the song's acapella intro section and doing a hell of a job with the whole thing.
