Maia Campbell Arrested

Maia Campbell once starred in "In The House" alongside LL Cool J, but since that time, she's been struggling with a variety of personal issues.

Over 20 years ago, Maia Campbell was the "it" girl. She was featured on shows and in movies including Thea, Poetic Justice, South Central, Sister Sister, Moesha, Beverly Hills 90210, and opposite LL Cool J and Alfonso Ribeiro on In The House for three years. However, Maia Campbell ran into a few issues with her mental health and substance abuse problems, and she would later go viral after videos of her acting irrationally and under the influence surfaced online. People would record the former star when they saw her on the street, but thankfully, she received help and was even featured on an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life.

In a recent report made by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Maia was arrested during a street racing bust in Atlanta. The outlet stated that street racing is popular in the ATL, and during this COVID-19 pandemic, police have been trying to not only make sure that people aren't participating in illegal events, but also trying to maintain a level of safety in crowded spaces.

The 43-year-old former actress was reportedly taken into custody and charged with being a pedestrian in the roadway. There were also reportedly 114 citations issued, 29 cars impounded, and 43 others arrested at the scene.
