It was a gargantuan week for female rap. Already, Doja Cat's "Say So" and Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage" were performing extremely well on social media and the charts. Doja Cat entered the Top 5 for the first time in her career and it was reported that Megan Thee Stallion was close to notching her first-ever #1 single. It turns out that she may need to wait another week because Doja Cat managed to inch her out in the latest update.

With the top two spots on the chart being occupied by female rappers, this is a major celebration of women in rap. Congratulations to both of these stars!

Elsewhere on the chart, The Weeknd stays strong at #3 with "Blinding Lights" and Roddy Ricch is still in the Top 5 with "The Box." Just outside, Playboi Carti earned his first-ever entry in the Top 10 with his feature on Drake's "Pain 1993."

As for "Say So," this is also the first time a collaboration between two female rappers is at #1. Nicki Minaj has also extended her lead as the female rapper with the most ever Top 10 hits.
