Marshmello released his long-awaited collaboration with Tyga and Chris Brown earlier today. The producer and the Fan of A Fan collaborators have been teasing the track for a minute. Of course, Tyga and Breezy have become controversial of sorts over the years. Breezy's history with the law has been well-documented and Tyga's relationship with Kylie Jenner raised a few eyebrows. Now, Marshmello is facing criticism by an indie-pop group from Glasgow over working with the two artists on their new collab, "Light It Up."
Chvrches clearly aren't fans of "Deuces" by Chris Brown and Tyga as they're going after Marshmello for his decision to work with the two stars. The indie-pop group previously worked with Mello on "Here With Me." Taking to Twitter, they made it clear that the controversial pasts of both Tyga and Breezy should've been considered when Mello decided to work with the two artists.
"We are really upset, confused and disappointed by Marshmello's choice to work with Tyga and Chris Brown. We like and respect Mello as a person but working with people who are predators and abusers enables, excuses and ultimately tacitly endorses that behavior. That is not something we can or will stand behind."

Chris Brown's career was stained after assaulting Rihanna in 2009. Most recently, the rapper was arrested and later released after a woman in Paris accused him of sexual assault.
As for Tyga, he's faced criticism for alluding to sleeping with Kylie Jenner when she was underage. In 2016, a 14-year-old girl said she had "uncomfortable" communication with Tyga. His manager later came out to claim that the girl initially said she was 17 and that the rapper only hit her up to speak about music.
