It's been close to two years since we got a new project from Ab-Soul, but the TDE rapper told us in January that his official follow-up to Control System was "turned in," and now he's revealed that a new mixtape is also coming soon. Taking to Twitter early this morning, the MC tweeted:
#LT3 refers to Longterm 3, which would be the third in a series that includes 2009's Longterm and 2010's Longterm 2. Expect it to drop after Soulo's still-untitled third album (previously thought to be called Black Lip Pastor), which TDE says is coming, along with albums from Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock, in 2014. Although we're less than four months into the year, the label's already off to a great start, with albums by Isaiah Rashad, Schoolboy Q and SZA all receiving critical praise and commercial success so far.
